Download the Duolingo app on iOS or Android and start learning 1 of their 23 languages on offer. The app is completely free and the lessons are personalised depending on your capabilities, covering reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Babbel
Babbel is available on iOS and on Android.
With Babbel, you can choose from 14 different languages and practice your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. The first lesson is free and after that, you can subscribe (click here for pricing information). Suitable for all ages.
LEARN MAKATON WITH MR TUMBLE
This resource is suitable for the younger kids in Key Stage 1.
Makaton is a type of sign language, usually used alongside speech to aid communication. Kids can learn makaton through songs and other fun videos with Mr Tumble. Click here to see some of his other videos.
